Walking and Bird Watching in Bhimtal – Walking around the hills of Bhimtal is very popular. The area is green and thickly forested and offers excellent for bird watching and photography. Combining Bhimtal and Sattal there are 400+ resident and migratory birds, 20 species of mammals (excluding rodents) more than 525 species of butterflies, and 11,000 plus species of moths, beetles, bugs, and other insects that are found.


Naukuchiatal/Sattal/Bhimtal Lakes – Considered lake districts of Kumaon, Bhimtal / Sattal / Naukuchiatal (5 Kms from each other) are three high altitudes (3000 – 4500 ft above sea level) lakes that offer green surroundings, wooded walks, excellent views, and where guests can do a bit of Boating.

Naini Lake – Naini Lake is situated in the center of the Nainital and is a prime attraction where tourists enjoy a bit of boating.

Naini Temple – Naini temple is located on the northern shore of Naini lake. The presiding deity of the temple is Maa Naina Devi and is considered one of the Shaktipeetha temples.

Hanumarngarhi – Hanumangarhi also known as Hanuman Garh is located at an altitude of 6000+ ft above sea level and is home to Lord Hanuman temple and excellent views of the area.


Wildlife and Bird Watching in Corbett – Corbett offers one of the best nature-centric experiences in India and is renowned for its riverside beauty, Mahaseer / Catfish angling, walking, wildlife, and Bird watching. Jeep safaris are on offer from 4 ranges (popular being Birjrani, Durgadevi, Jhirna). Corbett is home to the highest number of Bird species (resident as well as migratory) among all other parks and areas in India. Wildlife here comprises elusive Tiger, Leopard along with a range of well-sighted deer species.

Walking in Corbett – Walking around reserve areas of Corbett is considered an excellent experience for those interested in nature and walking. While walking in and around the Core area is not allowed, there is a number of established trails in buffer areas around Corbett. Some of them are those taken by Jim Corbett himself. Guests staying at Riverside Hotels in Corbett are able to do riverside walks.

Day 1: Delhi to Bhimtal (310 Kms covered in 8-9 Hrs by road)

We'll start sharp at 9 AM from New Delhi railway station. After 7 to 8 Hrs of drive, we'll reach Bhimtal (4000+ ft above sea level), a lakeside destination renowned for its tranquility, wooded walks and bird watching. Overnight, stay at hotel in Bhimtal.

Day 2: We will explore Bhimtal

After early breakfast at 8 AM first, we will explore the area around (Wooded Walks, Trek, Bird watching, Boating) the lakes and enjoy the lakeside character. Guests can visit other lakes like Sattal and Naukuchiatal. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Bhimtal.

Day 3: We will visit Nainital

After breakfast, we will do a full-day excursion to Nainital visit Naina Devi temple, and other sightseeing places like High Altitude Zoo, Hanuman Garhi, Naina Peak, or take a cable car ride to visit the snow viewpoint. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Bhimtal.

Day 4 : Bhimtal-Corbett (90 Kms covered in 3-4 Hrs)

After early breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and drive to Corbett. Arrive at Corbett by afternoon. Corbett is a renowned wildlife, bird watching, walking/trekking, and nature-centric getaway. Take a walk by the river in the evening. Overnight, stay at the hotel in Corbett.

Day 5: We will explore Corbett

After breakfast, we can enjoy morning and evening safaris in Corbett. Bijrani, Durgadevi, Sitabani, and Jhirna are 4 ranges. Based on the area of interest (Bijrani is best for having a chance to sight a tiger. Sitabani and Durgadevi are good for Bird watching) and the location of the jungle lodge one can pick. Overnight, stay at the hotel in Corbett.

Day 6: Corbett to Delhi (264 Kms covered in 6-7 Hrs by road)

After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and will drive back to Delhi by evening. Our trip ends at New Delhi railway station.
