Mysore is located in the foothills of the Chamundi Hills about 145.2 km (90 mi) towards the southwest of Bangalore.

Mullayanagiri Peak – Mullayanagiri peak is the highest peak of Karnataka. It has amazing trekking trails. There is a small temple atop dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is also known for the coffee plantation that is situated nearby.

Coffee Museum – It is heaven for experiencing the fresh aroma of coffee. It is here with coffee is tested and analyzed. All the processes of coffee making can be observed here.

Mahatma Gandhi Park – It is one of the places to visit in Chikmagalur with family and kids. It has a dedicated children’s play area and toy train which keeps kids entertained. You can stroll down the garden or sit by the pond.

Hoysaleshwar Temple Halebidu– Hoysaleshwar temple is a 12th century Lord Shiva temple in Halebidu. Temple has been restored and is a major tourist attraction for its temple architecture. Visited by International travelers all around the year.

Chennakesava Temples Belur– The Chennakesava Temple is a riverside temple in Belur, the erstwhile capital of the Hoysala Empire. Chennakesava is a form of Hindu God Vishnu and the temples are renowned for their temple architecture and visited all around the year by international travelers.

Hasanamba Temple – The temple is dedicated to Goddess Shakti. The unique thing about the temple is, it opens only for 2 weeks during Diwali. Devotees offer raw rice and light a lamp to the goddess. Many have claimed that rice never gets rotten and the lamp remains burning till the temple reopens next year.

Maharaja Park – It is a popular picnic spot. It has a children’s playing area and walkways.

Day 1: Mangalore - Chikmagalur (150Kms/3-4 Hrs)

Arrive at Mangalore airport and drive to Chikmagalur. Chikmagalur is located on the foothills of the Mullayanagiri peak of the Western Ghats; the city attracts tourists from around the state for its pleasant and favorable hill station climate, tropical rainforest, and coffee estates. And it is also famous for trekking, thrill-seekers, and explorers. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Chikmagalur.

Day 2: Chikmagalur (150Kms/3-4 Hrs)

After breakfast, enjoy walking in the tea garden or coffee plantations, visit the coffee museum, Mahatma Gandhi park, trekking enthusiasts can visit Mullayanagiri peak or relax at the hotel. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Chikmagalur.

Day 3: Chikmagalur - Hasan (60Kms/1-2 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Hassan. En route visit Hoysala era Halebid and Belur temples, renowned for their heritage character and architecture. Hassan is named after Hasanamba temple. On arrival, check into your hotel. Later in the evening visit Maharaja park. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Hassan.

Day 4: Hassan - Bengaluru (200Kms/3-4 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drop at Bengaluru airport for onward journey.
