Kodaikanal is a slope station which is situated in the Dindigul locale in the territory of Tamil Nadu

Omkareshwara Temple Coorg– Omkareshwara temple in Coorg (built in 1820) overlooks a water tank and is located on outskirts of Madikeri, represents a mix of Islamic and Gothic style of architecture.

Abbey Falls– Abbey Falls are a set of waterfalls located at 8 kms from Madikeri One has to walk through plantations to access this. A popular tourist visit place.

Dubare Elephant Camp– Dubare elephant camp is set across Cauvery river (A short boat ride required to access) near Kushalnagar. Here guests arrive for an elephant interaction (Bathing an elephant is most enjoyable for kids and adults) and enjoy elephant ride & coracle ride. There is a full day elephant interaction program guest can opt for or just it can be just a visit.

Cauvery Nisargdhama– Cauvery Nisargadhama is a 64 acre nature park having animals in its nature habitat and is visited as a picnic spot. Elephant rides and feeding deers are an attraction for kids.

Pykara Lake– The Pykara Lake formed after a dam was constructed on Pykara river. There are two waterfalls over 50 meters height that are popularly known as Pykara falls and are a major tourist attraction. Enroute one also stops over at Shooting point, a point where many movies were shot in past.

Ooty Lake– A lake, artificially constructed just for the fishing purpose has now become one of the most popular tourist places in Ooty which has scenic views in every direction you see. It is a place you just cannot miss on your trip to Ooty

Ooty Botanical Gardens– The Botanical Garden is spread over 22-acres and is in existence since mid 1800s. A flower show is held every May. The Gardens have around a thousand species of plants, shrubs, ferns, trees, and herbal and bonsai plants.

Government Rose Garden– The Government rose garden is the largest rose garden in India with more than 20,000 varieties of roses

Wax Museum– A wax museum on Ooty Coonoor road that houses life-size wax statues of Indian personalities.

Raj Bhavan Ooty– Raj Bhavan Ooty is the summer residence of the Governor of Tamil Nadu. Gardens here consists of ornamental gardens in an area of about 9 acres, a rich lawn on 3 acres, four rosaries, two lily ponds, a sunken garden, two green houses, a vegetable garden and a nursery.

St Stephens Church– St. Stephens Church on Mysore road is one of the oldest churches in the Nilgiris area dated back to the 19th century

Doddabetta Peak– A view point surrounded by dense shola forests from where one can have a panoramic view of the area.

Thunder World – Looking for some fun activities to do around Ooty? Head to Thunder World, one of the famous Ooty places, also known as Dinosaur Park, located at North Lake Road, near the Ooty bus stand. Famous for the Haunted House, Jurassic Jungle, Vortex ride and much more, this is one place which will be loved by kids in all age groups. This amusement park features a lot dinosaur models that come with light and sound effects. This place combines themes like horror, technology and history to give you a unique experience. Do not miss the Camera Museum, 5D theatre and the Rain Forest when you’re here. There’s an indoor snow room and a food court as well.

Kodaikanal Lake– Kodaikanal Lake is a manmade lake that is a central attraction of the Hill station of Kodaikanal. Guests enjoy boating, rowing and pedaling boats in the evenings.

Bryant Park– Bryant Park is a botanical garden near Bus stand spread over 20.5 acres having more than 300 species of trees, shrubs and cactuses. There is a section in the park that has 700+ varieties of roses.

Coakers Walk– Coakers walk is a 1 km paved pedestrian path running along the edge of steep slopes near approachable from the lake. There is an observatory with a telescope halfway along the walk.

Bear Shola Falls– A waterfall 3 kms from Kodaikanal town centre. Final approach is a gentle walk.

Shembaganur Museum of Natural History– 6 kms from town centre, open to the public (except Tuesdays) having 500 species of animals, birds and insects and a living collection of over 300 exotic orchid species.

Pillar Rocks– Pillar rocks are a set of three rock pillars standing 122 meters high at 8 kms from town centre

Silver Cascade– 8 kms from Kodaikanal, 55-metre waterfall formed from the outflow of Kodaikanal Lake. Kind of touristy and not good for bathing.

Day 1: Bangalore - Coorg (260 Kms/5-6 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Coorg. Coorg, also known as Kodagu, by its anglicized former name of Coorg, is a mountainous district located in the south of India, known for its beautiful scenery and hospitable people. Glorious sounds, sights, and scents welcome you as you enter Coorg. It occupies an area of 4,102 square kilometers (1,584sqmi) in the Western Ghats of southwestern Karnataka. Kodagu is well known in the world for coffee. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Coorg.

Day 2: Coorg

After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing of Coorg. Visit Rajah Seat, Omkareshwara Temple, Abby Falls, Madikeri Fort, Dubare Elephant Camp, Kaveri Nisargadhama, Bylakuppe (Kushalnagar). Overnight, stay at a hotel in Coorg.

Day 3: Coorg - Ooty (240Kms/6-7 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Ooty. Enroute visit Pykara waterfalls. On arrival, check into your hotel. And in the evening enjoy boating at Ooty Lake. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Ooty.

Day 4: Ooty

After breakfast, sightseeing options closer to Ooty to consider comprise Dodabetta Peak, Raj Bhawan, St Stephens Church, Rose garden, Botanical garden, Shooting point, Wax Museum. Overnight, stay at hotel in Ooty.

Day 5: Ooty - Kodaikanal (250Kms/6-7 Hrs)

Arrive at Coimbatore airport and proceed to Kodaikanal. In the evening enjoy boating at Kodai Lake. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Kodaikanal.

Day 6: Kodaikanal

After breakfast sightseeing around Kodaikanal by visiting Green Valley, Pillar Rocks, Coakers Walk, Bryant Park, Shembaganur Museum of Natural History, Silver Cascade, Bear Shola Falls. Guests can choose options to visit accordingly to their preferences. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Kodaikanal.

Day 7: Kodaikanal - Coimbatore (175Kms/4-5 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drop at Coimbatore airport for onward journey.
