Mysore is located in the foothills of the Chamundi Hills about 145.2 km (90 mi) towards the southwest of Bangalore.

Mysore Palace – The second most famous attraction in India, the first being the Taj Mahal, Mysore Palace is easily one of the most imposing architectural buildings in the country. It is amazing that the palace was only built in the 20th century and is the fourth structure to be constructed on the same location.  The Palace is a spectacle that comes every evening when it is lit with approximately 97,000 lights.

Jaganmohan Palace– Jaganmohan Palace is a palace in Mysore (1861) and was initially used by the Wodeyars, kings of Mysore as their home before the grand Mysore Palace came up. It is now converted into an art gallery and a function hall. The art gallery contains one of the largest collections of artefacts in South India (2000+). Some of the paintings are those by Raja Ravi Varma. Paintings different Indian styles of painting such as Mysore, Mughal and Shantiniketan.

St Philomenas Church– St. Philomena’s church in Mysore was constructed in 1936 using a Neo-Gothic style and its architecture was inspired by the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. It still remains a tourist attraction.

Chamundeshwari Temple– The Chamundeshwari Temple is an ancient Devi temple (12th – 17th Century) located on the top of Chamundi Hills. The temple is impressive from an architectural sense and considered a pilgrimage destination is considered one of the 18 main Shaktipeetha temples.

Railway Museum – Experience a very different kind of museum visit as you walk into the rail museum, one of the most visited places to visit in Mysore. Close to the city railway station in Mysore, this museum is the second one of its kind after the first one in New Delhi.

Brindavan Garden – The Brindavan Gardens have located just a level below the Krishna Raja Sagara dam. It is a major tourist attraction for all the Mysore and KRS dam visitors. It is also regarded as one of the most beautiful gardens in the state of Karnataka. The most popular and exciting experience at this garden is the musical fountain that is scheduled in the evenings Being one of its kind; Brindavan Garden attracts tourists from across the world.

Nagarhole National Park– Nagarhole (popularly known as Kabini”) represents one of the best park experiences in India. Coracle ride, elephant training camp visit & elephant ride, boat ride, Jeep safaris comprise some of the activities in and around the parking area.

Hasanamba Temple – The temple is dedicated to Goddess Shakti. The unique thing about the temple is, it opens only for 2 weeks during Diwali. Devotees offer raw rice and light a lamp to the goddess. Many have claimed that rice never gets rotten and lamp remains burning till the temple reopens next year.

Hoysaleshwar Temple Halebidu– Hoysaleshwar temple is a 12th century Lord Shiva temple in Halebidu. Temple has been restored and is a major tourist attraction for its temple architecture. Visited by International traveller all around the year.

Chennakesava Temples Belur– The Chennakesava Temple is a riverside temple in Belur, erstwhile capital of the Hoysala Empire. Chennakesava is a form of Hindu God Vishnu and the temples are renowned for their temple architecture and visited all around the year by international travellers.

Day 1: Bengaluru - Hassan (200Kms/3-4 Hrs)

Arrive at Bengaluru airport and drive to Hassan. Hassan is named after Hasanamba temple and it is also the base point to visit Hoysala era Halebid and Belur temples, renowned for their heritage character and architecture. Visit Hasanamba temple, Halebid, and Belur and return to Hassan by evening. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Hassan.

Day 2: Hassan - Mysore via Shravanbelagola (135Kms/3-4 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Mysore via Shravanbelagola, Jain Pilgrimage center (requires to climb 500 steps). Mysore is a renowned tourist destination and popular with heritage travelers with Mysore Palace being the main attraction, later visit Mysore Palace, St. Philomena's Church, and 150 years old Jaganmohan Palace. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Mysore.

Day 3: Mysore

After breakfast proceeds for local sightseeing such as Chamundi Hills, Nandi Bull Temple, Railway Museum, and Brindavan Garden. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Mysore.

Day 4: Mysore - Kabini (25Kms/ 30 Min)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kabini also known as Nagarhole. Rajiv Gandhi National Park is located here and it is one of the best parks in India for a safari experience. Enjoy safari in the evening. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Kabini.

Day 5: Kabini - Bangalore (170Kms/3-4 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Bangalore airport for an onward journey.
