Jewish Synagogue Fort Cochin– Jewish Synagogue at Fort Cochin was built in 1568 and is the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations.

St Francis Church– St Francis Church is a tourist attraction at Fort Cochin. It was built in 1503 and is the oldest European church in India

Chinese fishing nets – Chinese fishing nets, also known as Cheena wala are seen quite frequently in Kochi. These are stationary lift nets fixed at a particular place operated from the shore using mechanical contrivances to fishing nets almost 20m across. This unique way of fishing was introduced by the Chinese traders in the 14th century extending its relevance to “Ko-chi”, meaning China like.

Marine Drive – Marine drive is a quaint destination amongst the many Cochin tourist places the Kerala takes pride in. Exclusively built facing the backwaters, it offers a charming and a picturesque image especially during the evening hours attracting the locals and tourists alike. Along with the Rainbow Bridge, which is a major draw for tourists, the Marine drive is lined with Shopping malls, fast food joints and other important landmark buildings of Kochi.

LULU Mall – The Lulu Shopping Mall which is one of the largest shopping malls in India is an invite to the world of happiness. With 225 outlets, 2,500 seater food courts and the presence of top 100 brands and 11 fine-dining restaurants, this is definitely a place to pamper you. The mall also houses a 9 screen Cineplex, amusement rides, one of the largest ice skating rink and a 12-lane bowling alley making it a destination for every age group, especially during the weekends. Housed within the campus of Hotel Marriot, it offers convenience and luxury to domestic and international tourists.

Top Station – Top Station is notable as the historic trans-shipment location for tea delivered up here from Munnar and Madupatty by railway and then down by ropeway. Top station offers stunning views of the hills and plains beyond. Enroute waterfalls can be visited.

Eravikulam National Park – It is located along Western Ghats and the first national park in Kerala. It has the highest surviving population of Nilgiri Thar.

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary– Kumarakom Bird sanctuary is an area overlooking Vembanad Lake and is renowned for bird population and provides nesting grounds for a variety of birds. A walk (takes 2 hours) across the sanctuary in the mornings and evenings would provide opportunity to sight birds. There is also a lake at the entrance where boating is possible.

Backwaters of Alleppey– Kuttanad Backwaters in South Alleppey is what gives Kerala Venice of the East tag. Day cruises / hourly boat rides are popular and available from Alleppey jetty. Guests seeking an experience either opt for overnight houseboat or Kayaking tour.

Vembanad Lake– Vembanad Lake is one of the largest lakes in India and offering guests a comprehensive nature centric lakeside experience. There are boat rides on offer here where guests can take hourly or day cruises either from Alleppey or Kumarakom jetties. Guests looking for a backwater cum lakeside experience opt for overnight houseboat cruises ex-Alleppey.

Day 1: Cochin

Welcome to God's own country!  Arrive at Cochin airport / Ernakulam railway station and check in to your hotel. Cochin is a major harbor and commercial Capital of Kerala. Cochin is also an access point to visit Backwaters and Plantation highlands in the region. Half-day sightseeing like visit Chinese fishing nets, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church, Marine Drive and Lulu mall for shopping. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Cochin.

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar (150Kms/3-4 Hrs

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Munnar, enjoying the panoramic view of the green carpets of tea plantations en-route. On the way you can visit Cheeyapara waterfalls. Munnar - Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale (5000+ ft above sea level) is a tea plantation region and a renowned Hill station in the plantation highlands of Kerala offering guests an experience of misty & salubrious climate and a relaxed stay around the tea plantations. Blessed with a rich variety of flora and fauna with the most well- known Neelakurinji (botanical name: Strobilanthus) flowering once in 12 years. Rest of the day you are at leisure to enjoy on your own. Overnight, stay at hotel in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar

After breakfast, visit Mattupetty Dam for boating, Top Station, Eravikulam national park (closed during monsoons) and explore the local markets for shopping. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar - Kumarakom (150 Kms/4-5 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a destination renowned for the lakeside experience offered by premium/luxury hotels. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (Boating, 1.5-hour walking trail, Bird watching) OR enjoy the lakeside experience. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 5: Kumarakom - Alleppey Boat Cruise Jetty (33Kms/ 1 Hr)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey houseboat Jetty. Alleppey is a renowned destination in Kerala offering Lakeside and Backwater experience. Alleppey gives Kerala the name "Venice of the East". Reach before 12 noon, as the houseboat sails between 12 noon to 5 pm. Later in the evening, it will be parked in a nearby village for a night halt. Overnight, stay in Alleppey Houseboat.

Day 6: Alleppey - Cochin (85Kms/2-3 Hrs)

After breakfast, disembark at the jetty at 9 AM and depart to Cochin for onward journey.
