Main tourist attractions in the Haridwar trip

Maya Devi Temple– Maya Devi temple is regarded as one of the Siddhapeeth and is one of the most visited temples in Haridwar.

Mansa Devi Temple Haridwar– Mansa Devi temple is also known as Siddh Peetha, the places of worship where desires get fulfilled. It is one of the three such Peethas located in Haridwar, the other two being Chandi Devi temple and Maya Devi temple. The temple is also known as Bilwa Tirth, which is one of the Panch Tirth (Five Pilgrimages) within Haridwar.

Kankhal– Kankhal is a pilgrim area in Haridwar (3 Kms) and home to many monuments of pilgrim interest such as Anandmayee Ashram – The Samadhi of Shree Shree Ma Anandmayee; Daksh Mahadev temple – A Lord Shiva temple believed to have been the site of a Yagna conducted by Daksha Parad Shivling. In Kankhal one can also see Parad Shivling (Mercury Shivling) weighing about 150 Kgs and Rudraksha tree Sati Kund. Sati Kund is believed to be a place where Sati became popular by immolated herself.

Chandi Devi Temple– Chandi temple (1929) is a Siddha Peeth Devi temple situated at 3 Kms uphill on Chandi Ghat. It’s one of the most visited temples in Haridwar. Pilgrims can also take the cable car to Chandi Devi Temple.

Patanjali Yogapeeth– This is the home of Baba Ramdev and ever since the popularity of television programs has grown, Patanjali Yogapeeth has been seeing thousands of visitors daily arriving here for Yoga and alternate therapy based cures for a range of ailments.

Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar (230 Kms covered in 6-7 Hrs by road)

We'll start sharp at 9 AM from New Delhi railway station. After 6 to 7 hrs of drive, we'll reach Haridwar. Haridwar is a renowned pilgrimage set on the holy river Ganga and home to several significant temples such as Mansa Devi temple (A Shakitpeetha temple and accessible via Ropeway ride). Reach in time for evening Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri which is considered a definitive spiritual experience and therefore recommended for every pilgrim. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Haridwar.

Day 2: We will explore Haridwar

After early breakfast at 8 AM, we will visit Mansa Devi temple (A Shakitpeetha), Chandi Devi temple (A Siddh Peetha and requires a Cable car trip), Maya Devi Temple, Kankhal Pilgrimage area, and Bharat Mata Mandir. Guests interested in yoga and spirituality could also visit Patanjali Yogapeeth (Home of Baba Ramdev) and Shanti Kunj. Overnight, stay at a hotel in Haridwar.

Day 3: Haridwar to Delhi (230 Kms covered in 6-7 Hrs by road)

After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and will drive back to Delhi by evening. Our trip ends at New Delhi railway station.
